Anything But a Card

My turn for Bugaboo's 

Anything But a Card project

and with Mother's Day fast approaching

I thought this was a really cute idea.

Would be cute to have the kids color it as well.

Color, Cut and attach to a piece of a thin dowel

and stick in your plant or flower pot.

Could even add a personalized sign on a stick too.

I've used this idea before as well.

similar ideas.

MFT sketch challenge

Ok, so I'm a HUGE fan of MFT stamps.

I'm also a HUGE fan of sketch challenges

(they're my favorite)

Soooooo, It's only natural that I enter

MFT's weekly sketch challenge.....RIGHT?

So here is the sketch:

I decided to use one of MFT's 

"Who's that Girl?" sets for this challenge

It's actually a Birthday themed set but....

I used Baby themed paper and paper pieced it

this is how it turned out:

I happened to use MFT's Blueprint 1 die for this card

AND I can't say enough about how much I love this

Blueprint idea!!!!  It's amazing....the best thing in card making since....

well, THE best thing in card making :)

All the work is done for you! You even get layout sketches for all the pieces.

And last week MFT actually released Blueprint 2

which is currently in route to my mailbox!!!!

Time for me to make the

I found these little easels at Michaels a while back

and thought it would be perfect for on of

Bugaboos teachers :)

I printed her out of cardstock, colored and cut her out

then propped her up on the easel.  

It's she a stitch??  I love her.

MFT sketch #114

Every Wednesday over at 

My Favorite Things they have a sketch challenge

I have grown to be a HUGE fan of their products

and their Design Team.

Every month they have a challenge to find 

the next Guest Designer

and I've been trying for several months now.

They have clear stamp sets and awesome dies as well.

For this card I used the Fishtail dies 

I also used a "Who's that Girl?"

set.  This particular one has been discontinued but

you can find other varieties HERE

Right now they are in the middle of their monthly 

7 day release sneak peak.  Every day they release a peek at 

the new products to be released on Sunday. 

The Design Team posts images of things they've made with the 

new products.  It's so awesome to see what they've come up with.
