I decided to do the

Tri-Shutter card

seen on Splitcoast Stampers

You don't need a scor-pal to make this card but it sure helps. It's so fun to make. Great if your "big ideas" are bigger than the average card. I've also used the big center piece as a gift card

holder. There are other variations of this card on Splitcoast Stampers too. You can change the appearance by folding the pieces different ways or changing the length of the cuts. Limited only to your imagination and fabulous "stamper creativity". It's the perfect size. When I saw these reindeer I knew what sentiment would be perfect for them. I hope you enjoy making one of these fun cards.

Paper Popsicles Moosetrack Monday

Monday again.....but don't worry.....Paper Popsicles has you covered. Stop over there and pick up a free digi stamp. This awesome grad hat is a template over there too. Perfect gift for any grad. Easel Card

This was the try a new technique on Splitcoast a couple weeks ago. Spices things up a bit. Easy to make using these directions. I made mine a little bigger. I love this image. Again, a coloring page found on the internet. colored with Prisma pencils and Gamsol.

Welcome Home

Mom needed a "new house" card and I had seen this pattern on splitcoast and I have been waiting to use it. I love the way it turned out. It was time consuming but pretty easy. It was compliments of Cynthia Snoddy's template which I can't seem to find now. Good thing I print every template I like. The windows are made with vellum and I used my scor-pal to put the lines on them. Tiny brads for door knobs. It opens in the middle.

Flower Pot

This was found on....where else.....splitcoast
You pull up on the flowers to reveal a small card tucked in the pot for writing on. It fits into a standard invitation envelope. The flowers were cut using my cricut doodlecharm cartridge. The dragonfly is a brad. Would make a cute invitation for a bridal shower or birthday.

Tea anyone?

I love how this turned out. Tea cup template was found on Splitcoast
I used a boarder punch for the top of the cup. I sponged the edges with pink ink. The vine on the front is actually a rub-on. I had the little teacup charm in my stash. This will be a Birthday card for my husband's grandma.

Sweet Sixteen

A cousin's daughter is turning 16 and I wanted to make something really girly. I originally was going to use a high heel pattern that I found but decided that this was a little more appropriate. I traced my son's flip flop for this one. The edges were kind of rough after cutting the pattern with an exacto knife so I used a Heidi swap distress tool to give them a distressed look. I used sand paper to distress the base as well. I used a large fabric brad and ribbon to make the straps. The numbers were cut with my cricut - sweet was generated from my computer. There is a piece of white paper folded to make a card on the back that I adhered to the base (flip flop) pattern.

Get Well

This idea came from a magazine. The inside of the card says "You're never covered as much as you think you are". The file folder actually came this way. There were 4 (2 each) in a package, this being the larger of the two from www.paperloft.com
The recipients name is on the label with a made up hospital chart number. The other pieces are stickers I had left over from other projects.

fishing basket

Birthday card for father-in-law. Fishing basket inspiration came from here. I love her blog -- lots of cute stuff with several templates. I have some texture plates that I used to get the faux basket braiding impression. I bought the fish hook from Wal-Mart and cut the sharp points.
