Mojo Monday week 88

Layout courtesy of MOJO MONDAY. I recently heard about digital stamps and was intrigued. I did a little "googling" and found Squigglefly - they have the cutest images!! I just love this chubby bird!! I saw this birdie paper and I fell in love with it. At the time I had no idea what I was going to do with it. Then I saw this image and jackpot!!

Slow but steady

This is another digital stamp purchased from Squigglefly.com. When I saw this cuttlebug folder the first thing that came to mind was "turtle" My son recently did a book report on "The tortoise and the hare" which gave me the sentiment idea. I think this turtle is soooooo stinkin' cute!!

Accessorize or exercise??

I purchased this digital stamp from Squigglefly.com. I recently heard about digital stamps and did a little goggling :) and found them. Very cute stamps - very much my style!! This is a birthday card intended for my sister-in-law. Hard to tell in the picture but there are rhinestones on the earrings, bracelet, purse, shirt buttons and 3 on the bottom left hand corner.

Gift Card Holder

This is the tri-shutter technique challenge (directions here) I stumbled across on Splitcoast
I decided to make it a gift card holder. It is so cool how it folds up and fits into a invitation envelope. The middle is where the holder is. There is an itunes gift card in there. It's for my niece.

Tea anyone?

I love how this turned out. Tea cup template was found on Splitcoast
I used a boarder punch for the top of the cup. I sponged the edges with pink ink. The vine on the front is actually a rub-on. I had the little teacup charm in my stash. This will be a Birthday card for my husband's grandma.

Birthday wish

Another card with my cuttlebug. Embossing is on vellum on the bottom part of card. The wish is from the wild card cricut cartridge.

CUTTLEBUG THANK YOU

This was made with my new cuttlebug embossing folder. I ran it through the cuttlebug and rubbed the ink pad over the top of it to highlight the embossed part. I love this ribbon. It's wired ribbon and easy to form. So very simple and easy.

The sun will come out tomorrow

This looked like a puddle boot to me. I found it here. I made it for a friend who has been having a difficult time lately. "The sun will come out tomorrow". A friend of ours had a pair of rubber boots that were real bright and colorful (fit her personality) I knew this would make her smile.

How are YOU feeling?

I saw these 7 dwarf stickers at Michaels and this idea popped into my head. I layered a couple times and used brads at the bottom. Along the very top of the card (difficult to see) I used my Scor-pal and roller (a roller that leaves holes along your project to give it a "stitched look" You line the roller up with the lines on the scor-pal for perfect lines. It's pretty neat. I've actually had the roller for quite a while but found that it didn't really work that well by itself. I saw on the internet that they could be used together and whala - perfect lines. I'm glad I didn't get rid of it.

Birdhouse Greetings

This was a Mojo Monday sketch. Again, I used Prisma pencils and Gamsol to color this. My new favorite technique. Can be used for any occasion. I love this color combination.

Friend to Friend

I love this stamp. I recently discovered Prisma pencils and Gamsol for coloring. This is for my splitcoast DSS little sis. The paper was really cool. A 12x12 sheet with 4 6x6 squares of coordinating patterns. I haven't been able to stamp much the last couple days and let me tell ya.....serious withdrawls are setting in. I will have time starting tomorrow night and the rest of the week as I have a week off of work. Have to enjoy these last couple weeks of school because after that stamping will decrease dramatically. So many other things I should be doing but...........

Sew whats new?

I just love these little mice!! There is a little scissor charm hanging from the ribbon. This stamp makes me think of my Grandma. She had a pin cushion just like this.

CUTTLEBUG ROCKS

I love how this turned out!! I picked up a Cuttlebug at Michaels last week when they were on sale. Primarily for the embossing. I love it!!! This card, I embossed the image (I call them dandilion weeds) on paper that is white inbetween meaning it's white paper that is coated with color on top and bottom. Then I used a piece of sandpaper rubbed on the raised embossed part to bring the white center through. It's much prettier in person. It's a Sympathy card "May you find comfort tomorrow in the love that surrounds you today". Can't wait to get Stampin Up's Manhatten flower embossing folder!!!!!!

I missed your wedding

One of my co-workers asked me to make a card for a wedding that she missed because she had to work. This is what I came up with. The stamp is Stampin Up. The frame with circle in the middle is made on my cricut.
