
Quilt
I've found that regular quilting patterns make great cards when made to scale. Though it looks very time consuming it was actually quite easy. Use a square punch (whatever size you like) and place the punched piece on a piece of paper sized to your needs, in the center. Cut patterned paper in thin strips and start lining them up to cover the base. Then I cut all the fringes off the sides and used 4 thin strips of peach paper and made a frame around the piece (hides the edges). I printed the name right from my computer and then stamped a flower (g studio) and embellished it with a tiny pearl. Made for Grandma's Birthday.
