I just made this card for a co-worker's Birthday. He's only turning 45 but someone wrote "51" on the calendar at work to be funny. So......I went with it. This is Gus a Bugaboo character.

I thought this background paper looked like the sky. In case your not aware, Bugaboo is having a 50% off sale until July 5. No, that's not a typo - really - 50%. So be sure to go check them out. I pledge allegiance

Happy 4th of July!! I'm very passionate about The Pledge of Allegiance. I strongly feel that it needs to be said in schools every morning just like it did when I was in grade school.

HAPPY FATHER'S DAY - Super Dad

OK, I HAD TO THROW ONE LAST FATHER'S DAY CARD IN HERE. THIS IS ANOTHER ONE FROM BUGABOO. I'M SO BLESSED TO HAVE THE BEST DAD IN THE WORLD. I COULDN'T ASK TO BE MARRIED TO A BETTER FATHER EITHER. WE WENT OUT FOR LUNCH AND THEN WENT MINI GOLFING TODAY AFTER STOPPING BY TO SPEND SOME TIME WITH MY DAD. IT WAS AN ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL SUMMER DAY. HAPPY FATHER'S DAY.

Tiddly Inks has some adorable images. I saw this one and fell in love. How adorable!! If this doesn't SCREAM "Happy Father's Day" I don't know what does!! I paper pieced the shirt and tie with coordinating papers. Then added more of the tie patterned paper on the card itself and added the circles in coordinating colors to tie it together. The little metal title says "Dad" on the ribbon on the top of the card. I added the feather to pull out the feather in the had in the image.

ISN'T SHE JUST THE CUTEST!! THIS IS AN IMAGE FROM TIDDLY INKS. ONE OF MY NEWLY DISCOVERED (AND THANKFULLY SO) DIGITAL STAMP SITES. THEIR STUFF IS SOOOO CUTE. I DO LIKE CUTE!! I HAD SEEN SOME DISNEY WORLD PAGE LAYOUTS AND GOT TO THINKING "YA KNOW YELLOW, BLUE, BLACK AND WHITE LOOK REALLY NICE TOGETHER - AND SO THIS CARD WAS BORN. I USED MY COPICS FOR THIS. THEY ARE WONDERFUL! SO GLAD I BOUGHT THEM. IT'S A BIG INVESTMENT AS THEY ARE QUITE EXPENSIVE BUT WELL WORTH IT. THEY ARE SO BRIGHT AND VIBRANT.
