Dogs, cats, farm animals......TURTLES. I do love turtles. My parents have a pond and every year "Biggie and Jr" come back "home" to spend the summer. This has been a tradition since my son was about 3. One of these days he's going to look at us all and say...."how dumb do you think I am?I know Nana gets the turtles from the lady she works with" who happens to live in the country - so her son catches the turtles in the spring and releases them in the fall.
