Tutorial Wednesday

A few weeks ago I had an idea.
I had bought some paper with a white "core" and when
embossed you could sand the raised areas with
sandpaper and the white core would come through.
So I decided to paint a piece of white paper with paint
emboss and see what happens.
Well, that's just what I did to this card.
step 1: paint (acrylic pain is what I used) your
white paper (textured works best). Allow to dry completely.
step 2: emboss paper with an embossing folder using
a cuttlebug or similar device.
step 3: sand the raised areas with sandpaper for
desired effect.
step 4: complete your card.
Think of the possibilities....experiment with different
colors of paper, grades of sandpaper, sand a little or a lot.
Happy paper crafting!

Amy, I love mono-colored cards, and this is one sooo sweet & pretty! And the technique looks easy enough for even me to try. . .;) MWAH!
